Our vision & philosophy

The One Ahead is a band that focuses on authenticity, emotion, and true sound. We play exclusively live—no samples, no playbacks. We believe that music should be honest, organic, and built on a real connection between the musicians and the audience.

Our concerts are a musical journey of about 90 minutes. We create original compositions inspired by many genres—from rock and blues to reggae and art rock. Our repertoire also features selected arrangements of well-known international songs. The lyrics are in both Polish and English, because emotions and the message matter most to us, regardless of the language.

Music is our passion and a shared experience. We treat every concert as a gathering with people who want to feel something real—the energy, the atmosphere, and the natural sound of live instruments.

We also care deeply about on-stage comfort and high sound quality. We use our own stage mixer and in-ear monitors, allowing us to control our own monitor mixes on stage. This enables FOH engineers to fully focus on the house sound for the audience and streamlines the workflow during gigs. Due to our gear setup, we require about 1.5 hours for full setup and soundcheck.

We work with our own sound engineers when necessary. Our engineers know the character of our music and know exactly how to capture its dynamics and atmosphere during live shows.

Our albums are also created in the spirit of authenticity—we record using live instruments, with no samples, no grid, and no Auto-Tune. We are dedicated to preserving the natural character of the music and the genuine emotions captured in every recording. We are officially registered with ZAiKS, and our work is fully protected by copyright.
