10 years of The One Ahead — what a journey!

This year we celebrated the 10th anniversary of The One Ahead! 🎉
Ten years of intense work, musical experiments, concerts, recordings, and changes that have shaped our journey and sound.

The beginnings go back to 2015, when Barry, Jerzy and Adam started creating their first musical ideas together. Gabriela soon joined them, followed later by brothers Cezary and Bartek — and that’s how a band was formed that from the very start blended different genres: rock, blues, pop, reggae, and our own inspirations.

📀 Our Albums

➡️ “Go!” — our debut album, released on February 20, 2020, which showed the potential hidden in our music.
➡️ “Progressio” — our second studio album, released on May 31, 2025, marking another stage of our musical development and a more mature sound.

Along the way, we also released singles, including “Sympathy” — played on Muzyczne Radio, “Pajęczyna zła” (with our new vocalist Szczepan Wojsa), which aired on Radio Wrocław and Radio Opole, “Świąteczny luz”, and other songs that were warmly received by our fans.

🎤 Line-up Changes

Over the years, we went through some changes that were a natural part of our growth:
✨ Gabriela’s departure in 2022.
✨ In 2023, vocalist Szczepan Wojsa joined the band, bringing a new sound and energy.
✨ A year later, Karina Semków added her voice as well, forming an interesting vocal duo with Szczepan in our latest songs.

🎸 Concerts & the Stage

Over the years, we’ve played many concerts — mainly in Lower Silesia (Leśna, Świeradów-Zdrój, Szklarska Poręba, Lwówek Śląski, Wrocław, Wałbrzych, and surrounding areas), but also on other stages across Poland — sharing our music with you. Memories from live shows, full of spontaneous energy and close contact with the audience, are something that simply can’t be put into words!

Thank you to each and every one of you — fans, friends, family, and everyone who has been with us over these 10 years. Without you, this journey wouldn’t be the same. We’re moving forward with new ideas, new music, and more concerts! 🎶❤️
