Finally it’s there, our studio debut album Go!
On 20.02.2020 it is released and on this page we collected some information about the album.

The philosophy behind the creation of the album

In addition to dreaming of having your own album, the band’s premise was to check if they would be able to record the album using their own equipment. They wanted to create something similar in quality to the recordings of other bands.

They didn’t choose the easy way, because being just of the boat in the field of sound engineering and studio recordings, everything had to be learned through trial and error, from microphone settings, equipment connection, to the sound of instruments and operation of the recording program. The whole team had to find their place in the studio, rediscover their own instruments and their sound, which was a challenge, but also a step forward in understanding how it all works and how much you can learn not only about the instrument and work in the studio but about yourself.

You can listen to the final effect by buying an album. It is an experiment of an active and very creative group of people who engaged forces and found a common language to take on such a challenge.

How the album was made

Ideas for the album have been created since 2015. At the beginning it was jamming from which the songs crystallized systematically. Because the gentlemen had a lot of ideas, the list of songs grew longer. But to play concerts you need to have a specific repertoire and a larger band composition. Fortunately, the current composition was quite quickly and in 2017 work on clear skeletons of songs began. At that time, Gabrysia was sitting for a long time and was listening all songs to create a melodic line of vocals.

From July 2018, the recordings began in full swing to release the long-awaited Album “Go!” on the scheduled date of February 20. 2020.

Because there were hardware restrictions, the instruments were recorded one by one. Of course, the “pilot” for drums and bass was created earlier. Then, guitarists, clarinet, vocals and keyboards played on the drums and bass.

The album is not sterile like many or even most other studio discs. The premise was that it sounded quite natural, more concert-like than studio. How successful it will be, everyone will judge according to themselves. For the band at this stage of playing and developing together, the album is a dream come true.
